Course Location
 

The course is located at Hacienda de Guru Ram Das Ashram in Espanola New Mexico. The Ashram consists of 20 acres of land within a residential community. The Ashram has many community buildings including the Gurdwara (where Sadhana is held) and the Langar Hall (where classes are conducted). The Langar Hall is a large air-conditioned room with a tiled floor. There are private residences surrounding the ashram property as well as various community-based businesses.

It may take you two to three days to acclimate to the elevation and dry environment of Northern New Mexico. We are here in the high desert (5600 feet in elevation) so bring a water bottle and drink lots of water to avoid dehydration and always have sunscreen and a hat with you. Daytime temperatures can rise into the high 90s and occasionally go over 100. The nights will be much cooler and sudden intense rainstorms can occur.

July temperatures: Average high of 86 degrees F (30 C) and low of 56 degrees F (13 C).
